Henry,
Nice post. I just get a little dramatic as to how I state things.Actually, I do know I use things inside RDH 3/4 when I design and build an amp.
I learned early on, in the 70s, from a lovely fellow named Bob Goodman of Livingston, TX, how to take a tube's characteristic curves graph, and select a low distortion load-line and do all the math assiciated with it. That, and Ohms Law, goes a long way, plus all the other EE books I have, but seldom use. 'Ever see the book " Inside The Vacuum Tube" where you use special glasses to 3-D view the drawings, what a neat book !!
Cheers.
