I'm thinking of put the ECC31 in my ultraparth preamp to get more gain. all the pins are interchangeable between the two tube ( ECC31 and 6J5 ) however what could I do with the other half of the ECC31 ?
should I just leave it or parallel the two section ? what about the Anode impedance as I have my OPT optimised for the 6J5 of 20K the ECC31 is 14K do i have problem here ?.
don't know what to do but I love to get this done because the ECC31 have nearly double the gain of the 6J5 and that is what I want .
any comment please !
