Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

I have just dis-assembled a vintage radar transmitter and amoung the many wonderful parts is a potted power transformer with many useful taps. The problem is that it is rated for 400-2600 cycle operation. Is this even usable at 60 cycle operation? Is there a formula for de-rating it's values? I should know this , but I don't.
