I learned this lesson when I culed out ALOT of everybody's favorite 6sn7's I had stocked up in favor of what was top dog at THE moment, then with a hard speaker mod or source mod, I find out 1 of the other types shine equal or better, now I just keep em ALL.......great post by the way, this is intresting to me also.
