You don't seem to have mentioned anything about the separate turntable ground. Does it have a separate wire for grounding, and if so, how did you use it? If it doesn't, maybe it needs one?There are so many variables and it can get confusing. I haven't met one yet that couldn't be tamed though. It's worth persevering. Look for things that are grounded multiple ways. Try to establish a single ground point.
