This is my first time taping vinyl to rtr,so I guess I'm a little exited about the whole process!.I was just stunned at the quality,dynamics and really can't tell the differance from the vinyl to tape transfer.Of course a good recording is very dependant on good source material,and electronics.
I have heard of the magnecord and will keep a eye open.I also have covered up in the garage an old Teac 505 tube rtr,that I believe to be the same as the Concertone.This machine will for sure need service as far as caps go and maybe tubes.I think I'll use up what Maxells I have and then look to US recording for new tape.
