All well and good,But what happens if you loose data and your computer crashes! I tend to record everything to reel just in case my pc crashes. In that event I can go back to my reel to reel collection and restore any info lost on the pc. reel to reels don't crash but if I loose data from some kind of accident it only happens to one tape not my entire collection. So my reel to reel is still kept busy.
