I have picked up some unused nice older cassettes and some home made tapes on maxell xl II. I have a general question for you tape nuts! What will give me the best sounding and longest lasting home recording:
a) retaping over an existing recording on a good quality older tape
b) erasing the tape with a machine and then recording
c) forget trying to save money and just buy new tape.
Anyone with experience out there . Thanks Norm
