Usual convention is pin 3 is "hot".. Pin 1 and 2 both go to "ground"... but many makers defy this convention... and Pin 2 is "hot" and 1 and 3 is "ground".... so it is acutally useful to experiment with both, one will work "better" (louder). Rolf.
