It depends whom you ask, you can get both as better :-)Perhaps more important question today is "what tape from the 1970/1980 is holding better, TDK or Maxell?
Perhaps the most important qustion is "what tape was used to callibrate my deck in factory?"
For example, if you use Nak, use only TDK.
