complain mostly about the tape stretching over the years from normal use more so than storing them.In my case as I have used all kinds of tape out there from BASF to Memorex and of course Maxell and TDK in between I find that Maxell and TDK were the hardiest of them all as they can take a lot of punishment more so than others. Now if I have a favorite TDK always gave me the best results with my Revox, Tandberg and Nakamichi machines.
