hahahaha, you are right, the normal Kit one, with stock caps and normal bridge regulator sounds great. This is my first upgrade since I have get the kit close to 2 years now and I'm not planning to do aymore in a long period till I can get the DAC kit and a pir of high eff speakers.
NASA artucule only refers to a empirical try, using silicon vs silicon carbide scottky rectifiers. The first one adds 1 volt to the filament, the second substract one volt on the filament. This may affect the sound, positivelly or negativelly. That's all. I do not have the money to try both and , hahahahha, of course, I'm not planning to sell it.
I'm agree that 300 series output tx will be the mayor upgrade, but it's a lot expensive for me at this moment. I believe I will do, but first I will get all the minimal equipment. BG upgrde, according to maybe 90% of the kits owners will provide the best improvement of the "cheaper" upgrades.
