I don't have a Kit One but I've looked at the schematic and what I've seen is a seperate heater for each 300B (as it should be). In that case the link you provided is incorrect when it says that a 300B needs 3A of filiment supply. It is really 1.2 to 1.5A. Some of the exotic 300Bs (KR's) use a bit more, but 3A? Nope. And here's a question you didn't ask to have answered, but personally, I'd not use a DC supply. Use Ac with a hum pot. Yes, you can get a bit of hum. In the amps I've built it has been negligable. The advantage is that (IMHO) AC sounds worlds better than DC and yes, I've tried them both and YES, I've used exotic diodes to do the DC. Even tried regulated. It just always seems to have robbed the life from the tube. Of course, YMMV.
