Thanks Dan1,I am familiar with the products you proposed. I take it you currently are using them and it sounds good. Sometimes the LC tanks cause resonant issues. What value of cap are you using? I recently bought some foil/teflon capacitors which are doing very well. I replaced my jensen copper foil/oil caps. Be careful soldering the silver foil types they short very easily. I design and wind my own iron chokes, opts cause it's fun. But I am always curious as to the iron people like. I have OPts from james, electraprint, handwound(out of business). I currently have a homemade 4000h grid choke and 100H plate choke good for 10ma dc and 3 different OPTs I made. I was wondering whether I should reevaluate some different values. Are you using parafeed or series OPT set? I have done both.
