All I did was point out a FACT Dan. I made no comment regarding the validity of the choice you made to go with steel wire, and I'm happy for you that your preamp works well in video and pro sound installations. And I'm certainly not Naysaying anything about your decision to use the wire because you are able to save a few cents per foot by using it (if I recall, there was a lot of wire in your preamp). It pays to be frugal. And with all those units going out the door, look at all the steel coax (and steel springs) that won't be clogging up the local land fills. You're a friend of the environment too.
