Actually, after giving it some further thought, if the shield has the same cross-sectional area as the center conductor, and the shield remains equidistant from the center conductor about the center conductor, then theoretically you could maintain an effective zero loop area regardless of center conductor to shield spacing.However that assumes no eddy current losses in the shield.
