You said "the high-end has ignored the basics of linear design" [paraphrased]. I don't know where you come up with this stuff. Obviously there is no monolithic entity called "the high-end". But by and large, nearly all high-end designers work to build linear circuits. If you don't think so, please provide some concrete examples. And then provide at least a rough guess of what percentage of high-end manufacturers this represents.You further asserted that the high-end is in "a neurotic morass" now. Again, please provide some examples. Please tell us when this transition occurred, and what caused it.
