That's a shame with the Wadia since I'm pretty certain the encolsure is milled out of solid aluminum plate and therefore VERY expensive. Sounds like money better spent would have been for a faraday cage or other means of shielding. This is a perfect example of why I posted originally. The hi end is full of very, very expensive products where it seems many of (at least what I consider) critical design aspects aren't dealt with. Again, while I like unique circuitry that provides benefit over the norm, at what expense sonically when other aspects of the component compromise the sound quality?
