is refreshingly naive (I'm not being sarcastic).
Consider the Wadia 861 CD player. This thing is huge and heavy, with an aluminum-plate case that looks like it was meant for battle. It is also very expensive. One would think it would be immune from RFI emission problems. Unfortunately, I'm able to demonstrate, with an AM radio and with Corning microwave browning dishes, that it is not.
I'm sure the designers thought they were taking great pains to make it as bullet-proof as possible. There may be other gear around with better shielding, but this unit demonstrates that the audio "high-end" still has room to improve RFI performance, and achieve audibly meaningful gains in sonics by doing so.
