Hey Blu-ray has a blue-violet laser (405nm) which is a much shorter wavelength than a red laser (650nm) This should allow the data to be packed more tightly & stored in considerably less space! This together with the change of numerical aperture to 0.85 is going to enable Blu-ray Discs to hold 25GB/50GB on the disc even though it's the same size as a CD/DVD.Has anyone marketed an audio only version of Blu-ray? If so has anyone heard it? It seems to have great potential on paper.
