To seriously suggest that the infinitely inventive and determined mind of man could not devise a way to make one cable perform so differently from another in an electronic ciruit that it would affect the audible performance of a sound system is to stretch human credibility beyond all reason. The real issue as I see it is whether these electrical differences should be judged by purely objective criteria or by a measure of their subjective effect. If they are to be judged by subjective differences, then the problem arises as to what is the rationale for those critera selected and how do you arrive at them? In short, if one is looking for a cable that sounds "better" then what exactly does "better" mean, who gets to define it, and why is their definition of better preferable to anyone elses? (With that last sentence, I may have just killed a dead horse.)
