What about the obvious method: which one sounds better? Why is that irrational?â€This shows me that our differences are fundamental and irreconcilable. I see the ideal cable as a perfect conduit to get an electrical signal from point A to point B whether that signal is good, bad or otherwise, you see it as a way to improve the sound of any audio playback system. I don’t know how that could be done given all of the variables in audio systems, how you would determine how to do it or how you would judge if it had succeeded.
