Clark:Your article had some good points, but with comments like this, I for one can find little, if any, reason to lend you any respect whatsoever. I'm well aware that you don't give one hoot what I think of you, but I need to say this nonetheless.
The comment is a classic example of the BIG LIE. Curl is notorious for the way in which he abuses and attacks people. Jneutron consistently is polite and attempts to engage in reasonable dialog that is the normal approach in most academic and scientific settings. He seeks to present his data and theories, asks for others to do the same and for all to work together to arive at the truth, regardless of what it turns out to be.
I publicly challenge you to show in any small way how or why my characterization of jneutron is other than completely accurate.
Just because you have the gaul to call black white and white black doesn't make it so.
I know that whether one accepts my characterizations as accurate depends entirely on one's viewpoints, and I already know pretty much in advance who will agree with me and who won't. Nonetheless, when I see such abuse of truth and reason as is represented by your comment I will not keep my mouth shut.
What perhaps more people will agree with, who don't necessarily accept what I just said, is my further opinion that personal jabs such as your comment, designed to place people into two opposite waring camps and designate the goods and the bads, simply distract and seriously detract from any posibility that this forum can ever be a special place dedicated to free, open dialoged whose only aim is the fearless pursuit of the truth. That's what I would like to see this place become. I wonder how many others share that desire.
