At least some of the hearing-aide companies have something to say in the realm of articulation.Google up "articulation index".
The question of wires, however, having substantial effects is not at all what we all expect when the term "articulation index" is used.
Hearing-aids can work with articulation index and lots of other things. Wires, especially straight wires not wound into lots of coils, with nonlinear devices attached, sorry, y'all, but no.
