had never occured to you that a rather simple blind test could eliminate many of the variables. I'm not suggesting a DBT torture test or any such foolishness, just a setup where the identity of say two interconnects is unknown.Why? It doesn't bother me that I don't know the answers, nor at the end of the day does it matter what the answers are. It only seems to bother you for some bizarre reason.
As I've said before, audio for me isn't any sort of academic, objective pursuit. It's a purely hedonistic, subjective pursuit.
But such a test would blow away the smoke screen which is a rather a good description of the bulk of the bull shit you get on with on a regular basis, and I'm certain we'll be treated to a fine example of it when you come up with your objection to the casual blind test proposal.My only objection is that I've no particular interest in it as it really doesn't matter to me. It only seems to matter to you. And I simply don't give a shit about that. That's your problem to work out. Not mine.
