Technical and scientific discussion of amps, cables and other topics.

Got your point:-)

As you could see, when pursuing the vibration issue I discovered that the country I'm living in is seismically active, which I would not have thought before. Learned something.

Still the weird claims were incitation enough to read about quantum stuff, so again I learned something.

The problem with all these weird claims is that in order to know whether or not it's a scam, you have to dig, and sometimes quite deeply, in the technical field concerned. For example, I just read a review of Siltech cables, who use silver/gold wire. They say that they inject the gold to fill the gaps at the boundaries of the silver cristalline structure, so to avoid boundary distortion because the electrons flow better (or something along these lines).

I think that these claims are once again pure marketing BS, but to be sure I would have to look at metallurgy, material science, cristallographie, and maybe more. I would probably learn a lot.

For me all these claims are of the same category and would hence be educational to pursue. I prefer not to do that since it would take a great part of my leisure time. Better listen to some tunes using proletarian copper wire:-)
