Most of what I play or try to play would not need something that Elaborate, but I will keep it in mind down the road. I am not really into computer recording as of yet, I still use my Denon 3 head tape deck to do any recording. I thought about a 4-track tape deck, but most of the ones I heard so far don't sound all that great. It is like I am caught in the middle between not wanting bad sound from cheap gear and not wanting to fork over big bucks for great sound. The combo amps that I liked are in the $1,000+ range and I can't see a beginer like me spending that kind of money.
