Greetings from Florida, y'all!I am slowly but surely putting together a project studio in my home and need some advice.
I am an experienced analogue recordist (could ya hand me that razor blade please?) but am a babe in the woods when it comes to digital.
I have been looking at sound cards and such til I can barley stand to see another one and I need some advice.
What I need is to be able to record to my computer from my 16 bus audio console. The more this system acts like an analogue multitrack, the better! ('cept for the noise, of course)
I have seen the Creamware Ultra 16 and the Hammerfall lite interface card and like what I think they will do.... can someone advise me on this? I can't afford Apogee and I need to be able to record at least 12 tracks at a time -- what would you do?
Thanks!
George :-)
