ok, some here must have tried....anybody here try comparing a nice pro amp (like QSC plx) to a hifi amp in their home stereo....
My carver M1.0t hifi amp blew up, and I have been curious as to how a QSC plx (or similar pro amp Crown ) would sound with the LaScala's....
One told me that the QSC plx 'take a major dump' on the Carver PM series, which I believe are like the hifi Carver 'M' series but with greater output and fans....
where does one go to repair the Carver hifi amps of old?
