I was told by a friend who is in recording that if I cant afford the $300+ for the nice Sennheisers, to go with the AKG 240 monitor headphones. Have you ever used these in particular?

Thanks for the tip on balance. I recently fixed my recording problem and had to learn to trust my meter bridge for balance.
