Greetings,Thanks for the advice. Yes, 12 gauge would be just fine. As for the Neutrik 4, it is not used for bi-amping. Each amplifier feeds only its frequency range, in this case bass 40 - 220 Hz. I intend to put two 8 Ohm 15" cones in paralel, with the idea that they get approx. 30 dB each from an amplifier that delivers approx. 2000 Watts into 4 Ohms. So, each 15" cone can indeed have about 30 dB, which should do OK with high sensitivity enclosure such as bass horn. Yes, you are right, I shall not see 4000 Watts, that was just the max of the max. When runing a speaker at -10dB (my favorite), and encountering up to 16 dB peaks, the most I shall see is 2400 Watts (cone is rated at 600 Watts RMS cont./thermal).
As for the Neutrik-4, actually I do not yet know what to do with it. Namely, should I run only two wires from the amp and than daisy chain the "link" for the second enclosure (also 1x15" horn, of course) in parallel. A fellow told me that is wrong. Or should I put the parallel wiring at the very output of the amprilier and than run a 4-wire cable to enclosures and make a "Y" split of 2x2 wires, whereas on pair (+ and -) would run into one enclosure and second spli8t into the second enclosure, which is stacked right next to the first enclosure?
Thanks again.
Sven
