First, I dont think youll ever really see 4k watts so dont worry too much. But for your questions... I would use 12 guage single pair wire from the terminal block to the driver. Ive tried to use 4 wire and the connection always becomes more fragile with multiple wires comming together at the same point. The only time I use this is when Im using neutrik 4 as a double run as opposed to you using it for the highs and lows.
As for wire guage, it doesnt matter in real world applications (most of the time). Going with something greater than 12 guage will lower the resistance thus lower heat loss over a long run but the differences are small at best. Crown Audio used to have a chart that told losses over wire distances/ guage. If you arent going over 100 ft 12 guage should be fine and easier to work with. I might also say just to call sweetwater or full compass and order premade wire, its not too much more expensive and seems to hold up better. I dont think exotic wire makes a difference in PA applications as no PA is really that hi-fi (imho)
