I purchased AKG perception 200. The only difference with akg perception 100 is that, 200 has attenutation and high pass filters also shockmount and sturdy carrying case included. Anything else is the same. so if u already have a shockmount and a mic carrying case u dont need to purchase 200. Of course u need a good preamp with a lowcut filter and sensitivity level control...I got it but i didnt really use it yet. I'll use it in 2 weeks. But i tried it with a focusrite trakmaster preamp connected to a home stereo. The sound was good enough.
