OK, guys! I saw the beast on www.TR.ca (Bruno Belisle, designer), and you'll see that, from the exterior, it simply looks like a 1x18" 4th order club box (no rear-firing drivers). However, its catagory is labeled as "rear loaded", in contrast to other similar subs with smaller vents. If it's a transmission line, it's mighty compact! Perhaps this type of design carries a different name in other circles (unless it's new)? Hard to tell from just a photo....
