Do you use digital multiband compressors? And do most of the well-known mastering houses use them? If so, for how long have these types been in use? I know that the classic Neve, Manley, Pultec, etc. compressors are still much in use and sought after. But how about the newer digital multiband? I'm just asking since you said analog compressors do radical things to phase. Do engineers care? Or is the radical stuff part of the sound they're looking for?
