To make it brief..( If their is such a thing), Ahhhhha the Lukie Ranch Hell of a nice spread...good food too !!....been there a time or Three, met Thomas Holman.....(Mr. THX)

Actually, I started in '73, and started as an Audiophile, and loudspeaker designer, and Student of the Trombone ('69). Remember Lafayette, Olson , Therotest, and other electronic outlets? In the late 60/early 70...those catalogs' were memorized, and after auditioning many high quality loudspeaker systems, I felt that their was a lot of work to do in this profession. Still play the horn, and the Mixing desk. Love Breul&Kajer Microphones. Love to master.

Skipping through, in '75, I installed monitors, and revamped acoustics in many recording studios', US and Europe, and basically, ran into Alan Parsons, spent a few hours with him, and decided, the recording arts was the destiny.( We had a good time checking each others mixes) After going pro with the trombone, I would set the house system up (Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton, a couple Gigs with MF), and then I would continue loudspeaker consulting, and some free-lance engineering. HI FI was still important, I kept on top of it. Met Thousands of people.

I got into Retail, for educational purposes, While furthering my College education, and my Heart fell into the recording studio even deeper....These guys were not translating the sound!!!( Enjoyed consulting with Speakerlab, Jbl, and others)

I got picked up by several lables, again contractual, Warner occupied my time through the early to mid 90's, until I could build my Studio.

You get spoiled working with Neves, and SSL's, so , the SSL it is.

Most of my projects are independent now, Colleges, Universitys, mastering for lables, live recordings, Jazz, and of course, Symphonic, and Opera. Do it contracual.

I have attended many NAIM, and CES events ( over 30 combined ).

I welcome your email. At this time, I am one of about 3000.....+ of us out there, have not made a name for myself like Mr. Grundman, Holman, or Ludwig..., But I am a "behind the scenes man", and get called on for consulting, quite often. A studio gets's in a bind, and I go. I would love to Build studios for a living...and may start one day.

Perhaps... maybe one day, I can get placed permantly on the West coast, and then , I can be in the spotlight more often, but at this time ...being nestled in the Ozark mountains, with my private, for hire Studio...has it advantages.

Email, and I can give you a list of some of the projects....we may have crossed paths before !!
