It would be nice to know what op-amp they used to correctly advise you, especially in the high gain mic preamp sections. Does it use input transformers. I would probably guess NO with direct in differential amp inputs. In this type of input, electrolytic caps are necessary. If you can find the new Dubilier reds (hard to find in USA) it might help but the real culprit is the diff-amp input and no transformer. The best! Jim
