What I'd like to know is how you can tell when polarity is reversed by ear. Is this something you must train your ears to detect? I have a test CD that lets you compare but I wouldn't know by just hearing a CD, not knowing if it were reversed or not. A source may not sound
right to me, but I don't usually know why. Out of phase is easier for me to detect, but even then I may not catch it. Does any one know of any inline boxes available for switching (polarity or phase or both)? I know it makes a differance, and is much more pleasing when right.
