Well, actually, sound quality is one of RBP's priorities. I have a sampler CD of some of RBP's recordings and these recordings are of extremely high quality.
It's a CD with unmastered recordings and the sound quality is really awesome. Dynamics, detail, presence, it's all in there.
The absence of hiss/noise was something that I noticed when I first listened to some tracks. So I guess the Hi-Fi VCR isn't that bad at all :-)I would advise you to contact him and to listen to some of his recordings. You'll be surprised!!
