I have heard the mackies a lot and dont think they are in the same league with high end roducts like the Nexos , McPherson or Turbosound. I auditioned a clair brothers box today that was great but too big and I used the Meyer UPA this weekend. Sounded awesome but I dont like the idea of running a power and speaker cable, we sometimes have a very fast turnaround which necessitates quickcabling. Maybe Ill consider the UPAs and design a signal, and power cable in one (or just use techflex). I dont like running these parallel tho.
