If there's an ethernet connection use that. If not, and I'm no golden ear, and I probably couldn't tell the difference between true ethernet, but I've been using ethernet over powerline for awhile now and it works just fine for me. Ethernet cable to plug in adapter at the modem/router end, and a second plug in adapter at the streamer (SB Touch) end. Whatever the merits/demerits sound wise, and again I don't notice any compared to straight wifi, I have noticed far fewer dropouts than I used to get running straight wifi on the SBT.
