So they say.The Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 (there were a few of
them on eBay recently) has (coaxial) S/PDIF output
**and** input, and comes, of course, with the
Prodigy firmware and drivers so you don't need to
perform a firmware flash (and lose analog out).
It does cost about $60 more than the Chaintech,
however, and for that money you might look for a
(discounted) X-Fi or E-MU 1212M.
