I guess I'll stick my neck out and ask the obvious question:Exactly what is in your system, how is it configured (i.e., connected), and how many outlets are you using if you are using more than one?
It sounds like you may have two different transformers/power supplies that are somehow sharing chassis ground, not just signal ground, plugged into two different outlets, and somehow the "polarity" is flipped on one. Miswired outlet maybe?
