I dont think the sand has anything to do with RFI. I might be wrong on that, but I think all if not most of the improvement has to do with removing vibration.

All I know, is that the sand does improve things...at least it did for my system, Al's and yours.

In my crazy audio world, vibration is a big concern. SOme tweaks like cable lifters are supposed to work for other reasons than vibration, but can alter vibration within a system. Maybe that is what people are hearing? Maybe the Power wraps do the same thing?

I am NOT saying that they don't help with RFI or that lifters don't change dielectical interactions, just that both would seem to also work to change the amount of vibration that occurs in wire, and might be why those tweaks are so well received.
