I did some reading back then. A true Zobel network consists of an R and C in series, with values selected to compensate for the reactive nature of the speaker being driven (so the amp will see a more nearly resistive load), and is usually installed at the amplifier output, not at the speaker terminals. Walker Audio and Merlin make RC networks for installation at the speaker terminals that are primarily designed to keep RF out of the speakers and to compensate for the characteristic impedance of the speaker wire. The values of R and C in the latter network are not sufficient to perform the function of a true Zobel network in most cases. It's just a matter of semantics but worth noting.
