Frank, not to worry. I had a 6SN7 go bad, in the middle of some loud Pink Floyd. I lost 6 driver tubes in one shot. There also was a BzzztPOP at the end. I put in some new 6AS7G's, a new 6SN7, and continued on my merry way. Note; absolutely no damage to the speakers.
