Between circlotron and totem pole, I vote for Atma. Just a bit more musical, less SS. IMHO. Disclaimer: I like both, and have not heard T16, just the ebay OTL Merz 1212 designs amp; my cat likes chinese 805 SET's - go figure =) Just make sure to get chinese 6N5P from diyhifisupply to run, you do want TRIODES, right ;-)?
