You can only use a center tapped secondary & single bridge, if the regulators are simple shunts like zeners or gas tubes. Devices like the SuperReg cannot be used in this fashion.If you're curious why this is, think about the fact that a device like a SuperReg can *only* regulate the potential between device ground and device output. You can't turn a SuperReg on it's head, the way you can with a simple resistor & zener / gas tube.
