Split rail regulated power supply

58.169.46.147

Hi chaps

Allen Wright suggested I post this on the OTL Asylum as I didn't get many responses over in DIY Tube.

I need to build a split rail +/- 225V regulated power supply for an active crossover project I'm working on.

Would it be OK to stack two +225V shunt regulator supplies on top of each other in order to obtain the +/- voltages?

Has anyone built a split rail regulator? Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Cheers. Doug
