In the MkIIIs, the bridge supplies are regulated. There are no unregulated supplies in the MkIII. So there are new bridge supply transformers and we even have a new main power transformer. B+ is actually slightly less (about 260V) to allow for regulator headroom to 105V AC from the wall. Sounds to me like the current on the SR is set a bit high- the current of the MP-1 high voltage section isn't more than about 20ma.
